Well, looks like it's time for new headers for the ride. I had my trusty Dynatech's off while I freshened the engine and happened to look inside the tubes. Looks like even though they were coated inside and out, there is quite a bit of rust in them now. So before it gets too much worse, I'm gonna get new ones. Right now I'm looking at Fab Shop headers, but they are proud of them!!! Anybody else have any suggestions? Not opposed to staying with Dynatech, but one big thing I'm looking for is fully welded collectors, not slip fit. My o2 readings are way off and it's coming from leakage around the joints.
Open to suggestions!!!

Just my 2 cents but you have all of the good parts in the engine, why not splurge for a good set of custom stainless steel headers and collectors built for your combination. There are a few other good companies out there .

Give me a call have been doing a lot with welded on collectors lately. If you are in a hurry I can't help you it is that time of the season, I'am a one man show.
No blower.... occasional bottle though. I'm not opposed to spending money on a good set of headers, it just kills me on how expensive they are. If I'm gonna spend the money though, I want to know my dollars are well spent. These headers have held up under some pretty stupid stuff and it took a tic over ten years before this happened. Honestly I'm leaning towards another set, but wanted other options as well

I would also like a new set but like you said they are so expensive for what they are, that being said, I sure miss the chrome ones that was on the car I crashed, these stainless ones are so much harder to clean.
Stainless: PIA simply not worth the work of keeping clean and nice IMO.
Have 2 sets of triple chromed Dynatechs...love em.
Ordered a new set of Fab shops with turn up collectors for new EZ chassis we just recieved from Johnny Ezell...8 week delivery, and priced much higher than most...hope it's worth the wait!
I love the look of stainless over chrome.. There's just something about polished stainless steel that even when it turns a little gold, will always look better than scratched up chrome.. I have stainless fabshops on mine and hands down one of my favorite headers

i had a set of performance welding headers on my car back around 2009 he builds a really nice header and i dont think they where that costly 1200 rings a bell in stainless with a merge collector
if your stainless headers are dirty/colored find a local shop that does the polished ceramic coatings and ask them if they can put them in there vibratory polisher, it will polish the header and make it look new
