If you have a local starter/alternator shop they should be able to do it. What type of alternator is it?

We have builder here, he does them all. If he is too busy i just order a new one from DB Electrical
Free freight too. He is my wholesaler for the truck alternators and starters.

I have one of the expensive brands named here and when it failed I took it to a local Starter / Alternator shop. I asked them what was wrong with it and what was different than stock. Forget what was wrong with it but he took it apart and showed me they were all factory parts nothing special.

The parts that do fail in there are relatively cheap to replace.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.
