BG Isn’t that equation based on a constant acceleration? I know my G force trend on my data logger peaked at 3g on the leave and came down pretty fast. So, that metric is often used in car reviews. A quick street car is 0-60mph in 3 sec or so. I was thinking a typical dragster with 1.05 60’ may be under 1 sec for 0 to 60 mph? Yes. That is the average velocity. Best would be to probably plot it out on excel and use a best fit exponential. Been a long time since calculus. That is simply how the mph is calculated at the end of the track 60' / interval time to finish line. I can remember the days when there was the 60' after to try and get a more accurate mph. Velocity isnt changing much the last 60' so it's pretty accurate. I'm sure there is someone smarter than me to help you out on this. BG | |||
