Chris, check a Sea Doo dealer. That is a common plug for Water Craft.

looking for 2611 b9es. got to start wearing glass' when typing.

Do not want restrictor plugs with magneto. I have about 90 of those I want to get rid of. When ordered from rock auto should have been wearing glass' too. LOL
I have enough for few runs since not swapping out every run but also need new plug or two for reading fuel. Could probably get by with 24 new ones for while.

I have some 10's for A/fuel and do not mind running them but would like my old stand by 9's then change. Told very little difference but if possible remove all doubt.

Twice last year had plugs and stop nozzle throw me curve ball and just going to what I know to start season.

I got lost trying to cross numbers to NGK and called their technical help line, got a VERY knowledgeable and helpful young lady who got me straight.

the R5671A9 is NOT a resistor plug, the "R" stands for RACE.

As per NGK's own website, the R absolutely stands for resistor.

A typical resistor spark plug usually has a resistance value between 5,000 ohms (5kΩ) and 10,000 ohms (10kΩ), though the exact value can vary depending on the manufacturer and specific spark plug design; this resistance is built into the ceramic body of the plug to suppress radio frequency interference (RFI) generated by the spark ignition process.
the ngk is 1000 ohms

This is correct. For all the non-believers, using your multimeter set to ohms, measure from the spark plug boot end to the projection tip and you’ll measure less than 1 ohm Guaranteed.

Rusty

the plugs have 1 ohm not 1000 ohms.

NGK Part Numbering is completely different for their racing plugs. Yes, their standard grocery getter plugs that have an R in the P/N are resistor plugs. The Race plugs (P/N BEGINS with an R) are non-resistor, and as others mentioned, will measure about 1 Ohm or less.

My apologies to SR4440... didn't realize the race plugs are numbered differently.

No need to, I like open discussions, it's one of the ways I learn.

If it seems that bracket racing has gotten too expensive for you, maybe you are just doing it wrong.
