I am considering replacing the front wheel bearings in my spindle mounted Cragar wheels with ceramic bearings and wondered who to buy them from. There are several suppliers, Performance Bearing in Arizona, Kogel Bearing and probably a few others. Who would be the best source?

Good Morning Tony:

Did you just replace the front wheel bearings or did you do the third member as well?

Any noticeable difference other than the empty space in your wallet?

I did not put them in the third member. I have a friend that works for Quick Performance and before that Yukon. He doesn't recommend using them in the third member.

I put them on front and rear. I honestly don't know if they made a difference on the time slip or not. I kicked a rod out on the first pass after putting them in. Super Angry.

I used Performance Bearings also. Good customer service too. I got bearings once before for another dragster from Will Harrison but when I tried to contact him this past summer I never got a response from him. Not sure if he is still over seas or not.
