I just found this at Tractor supply for $2/qt. Figured why not and poured it in the bracket car. I’ve only pulled it into gear on the stands so far. Feels a little funny but says it meets hygaurd.

I ran it in the bracket beater yesterday. We made 3 passes and I completely forgot about checking trans temps while trying to dial in other things in this new combo. It seems at least adequate for a mild combo, hopefully I get more data soon.

For anybody following the thread:

5 passes in about 3.5 hours, with a couple almost back to back. Only cooler is a B&M external tank. Tank maxed out at 199 right after a run and cooled off quick. Converter maxed out at 215 after a few minute heat soak.

Fought some trash in the fuel system (post filter??) so hard to comment on consistency.

Been following this thread with interest.
Have you noticed any difference in converter flash RPM and/or shift quality?
Also, can you share some info on the beater combo you are using it in?

Thanks!

Sorry, new combo so no comparison on stall speed. Shift is crisp on the grid data. Stack injected bbc in a 4 link dragster described in my “what will it run” thread.

Just put this in my dragster with no change in performance. I don't check trans temp so can't comment about that.
