Have a problem with the fridge and slide outs. My wife turned the fridge on as usual and put the slides out. She went back to check the fridge and it was off and now won’t come back on and the slides will not come in. Could it be the house batteries are dead?

I'm no motor home expert, but my fridge either works or gas or 120v, but not 12V per se.. When using gas, it will try to light a couple times, then go to "check" mode, if lighting wasn't successful.. When my generator on, it will be on AC, and when the generator is off, it switches to gas. Also, my gas detector will "smell" the air, verify there is no leak, then send a signal to the solenoid to "open" to let gas flow, so if I switch the turnoff to the house batteries, I have to reset the detector. (If no 120v avail)

Did you check the electrical path for those circuits? I'm assuming DC but you may have blown a fuse. I agree on Yellow's advice, if the slides and fridge wont work then is there anything else that quit too on that side of the RV? Sounds like fuse. Mine has fuse distribution block in one of the storage bays. Check around. Most fridges need 12V even if on propane to run the electronic board. Look for a junction block that is loose. Hope you find it.

Might want to check the test/reset button on your electrical outlets. Sounds crazy but on mine I have one located on the side of my sink. Same side as my fridge microwave etc. If it gets tripped I lose power on that side of the coach.

The batteries switch, I accidently hit it on mine and NOTHING worked, i freaked out and we chased it for 4 hours until I came back in and went to turn on the lights and saw that the battery switch was also off. Well the house batteries were junk. Slides work but still no fridge. I have the dreaded red light on at the back of the fridge. They say a magnet will reset it. Just haven’t found the right spot to touch the magnet.
