A friend has a Dedenbear Lighting Delay box and wants to shift the transmission by RPM. The instructions indicate how to shift by TIME but he wants / needs to shift by RPM.How is the box programed to switch from time to RPM?

I don't own one and don't have an instruction sheet and all I can find on Google is how to shift by time. I am trying to help him via the phone.

Thanks for the help:

Bob

The lighting box does not shift by rpm, It doesn't have a rpm input.

Thanks Joe.

Evidently he is trying to do the impossible with this delay box, thanks for the information problem solved. Now the challenge for him is to "Guess" what the time input should be. New car ..... multiple issues, shifting was one.

MSD rpm activated module will do what he wants and fairly cheap. If tach has out put for shift light that would do it too.
