the fact is the engine you assembled for Costelllo is a turd.
Same engine Nesbitttt did for Costelllo. I haven't even moved the ignition timing, or cam timing yet.

Same engine Nesbittt did for costelllo, only I put long rods in it, tall deck block.
It'll last for 9 seasons like the last one I did for costelllo the same way. Tall deck alluminum block.
I haven't even moved the ignition timing yet. It'll definitely outrun the Nesbittt version in the same conditions, the way the ignition timing is set now.

My version of the same engine won the dyno competition for horsepower vs the Nesbittt version of the same engine with shorter rods.
Lost on torque though, but that's no surprise with a longer rod and bigger camshaft - lift.
It'll last for 9 seasons though. We've already proven it with the last one I did for costelllo the same way in 2011.
The short rod version cylinder walls and piston skirts looked like they had 100,000 miles them when I took it apart, when it had maybe 75 runs on it tops - liberal estimate. Pistons couldn't re-used nor the cylinders honed.

Fact, know nothing do nothing wanna be crew chief ed.
What a loser, couldn't even fix park on his own two speed powerglide transmission.
Pretender Ed, the pretend drag racer gonna try to tell me something about drag racing.

I'll get some photo's of the piston skirts, looks like 100,000 mile engine.
Manley H beam 6.535 rods.
I put billet rods in it, it'll be plenty good for 9 seasons. Long rod ratio tall deck aluminum block.

It's all over but the crying pauley.
Let me know when I'm wrong about something.
In the tight & slow lane, in worse conditions.

I'll tell ya why I'm so stoked with this new custom one off PTC torque converter.
If MEAN GREEN does ever end up in mine shaft conditions, it'll cross at 7650 rpm's 149 mph, with the converter slipping 12.5%.
This is the perfect torque converter for this combo.

The driver just had a baby, and is 50lbs heavier than she was when the Nesbittt engine cast oil pump expired exactly one year ago.
I just found this out too, the Nesbittt engine was last run exactly one year ago at the Christmas SFG race.
The Melling billet oil pumps are the hot ticket, I don't give a crap what anyone says to the contrary.

They're running one quart less in the oil pan now too, with no loss of oil pressure in shutdown.
Same oil pan , Melling billet standard volume pump, red spring.
I tested that theory/approach on the dyno to 8,200 rpm's.
Had a high volume cast pump on the Nesbittt version.

I knew this approach with the Melling standard volume billet oil pump would work perfect with the red spring, because I did the same thing on the tall deck long rod ratio 548 BBC I did for them in 2011.
It lasted 9 seasons, it still ran perfect when they took it out of the car to freshen it out of guilt in 2021.

This original long rod ratio BBC I did for these people was the best work I ever did.
The block was deemed a door stop by my machinist. When I took it apart it had a half spun rod bearing, and beat to death line bore due to poor clearances.
Whoever did the engine originally built a trap into it by numbering one of the lower rod caps to the inside. Whoever did it before I did it, didn't catch the trap, put the cap on backwards and it half spun the rod bearing but didn't lose oil pressure. Heated the crank until it cracked over who knows how many runs. So crank was cracked in a running engine for who knows how long. This may also be what wreaked havoc on the main bore dunno for sure.
I took the block to a roundy round guy everyone said could fix it. The guys shop was a dirt floor , but I had nothing to lose, door stop tall deck aluminum block or the old guy fixed it. He told me he could fix it barely, but I couldn't see how he did it, told me to come back in an hour.
I got it back from him and bolted everything together and put it in a car paint oven to heat it up over 200 degrees to check clearances.
It barely passed as the old guy with the dirt floor shop said it would, super tight at the parting line of one of the caps.
I told the owner, don't touch the throttle until its warmed up real good.
They run it 9 seasons, ran perfect. My best work all times.
This new one was gravy in comparison, it had the straightest line bore I've ever encountered. Used one size Clevite main bearing set.

I love competition win or lose.
I knew when I started this thread, I could lose.
That's what everyone needs to understand, I could have lost, and I would've been alright with it.
It's all over now though, but the crying, lying and denying.
So go ahead libtards, cry, lie, deny. I'll bomb you with evidence / facts.
