Ok working on building drive unit for mag and fuel pump that mounts to front of motor.

Have been waiting a year for them to be back in stock. F--k it time to build my own. Most of it no problem just time and aluminum stock. Only thing is finding something for the gears. Need three gears that will mesh side by side. Meaning center gear will drive one on each side, making outer gears reverse rotation. Need center t be around .5 to .75" center to center on outer two gears needs to be roughly 4 to 5" so close to 1.5" gears. All will have press fit piece riding on bearings.

Hopefully explained enough to give idea of what I want to do. Now anyone have a idea as to gears that can be converted or who might carry some that could be made to work?

Kinda hard to understand what you're explaining.
Can you list I.D......O.D......how tall.....and tooth counts
I'm assuming you want/need straight cut gears?

nothing specific about it yet Any two gear that are between 2 to 4 inches o.d. and have a 1/2 to 3/4 bore and shorter would be better maybe 3/4" thick. Everything can be made to work with them once I get a set or two.

Basically building a gear drive to drive a belt drive allowing me to have ccw and cw drive that are driven off cam. The oppisite rotations is only reason for gears

Looking at transmission gears right now. Damn sure strong, lots of choices and give me a easy source for more later.

It is similar and hopefully looks better and less bulky when done. Maybe just the picture but I do not see two mags fitting on that piece as said in ad.

Found a set of gears off Honda vrt 1000 motorcycle that looks promising. Plus eBay has lots at very little cost if they work I will be buying more to bul;d another. I have to have a backup for anything custom. Besides most pieces have room for improvement and are normally found while building first.

Found perfect pieces. Seems a Honda 1000 motorcycle has a 3 gear geardrive and ebay is full of them. Figure if it lives in 13k bike a 8000 to 8500 rpm bracket car should be nothing plus hell no real strain to turn a magneto, fuel pump and vacuum pump. Thanks for suggestions.

You are working too hard at this. What you want is already made by Enderle. Made to run off the came gear. I even have one that I could part with.
