Be curious type that I am. I was wondering how much I could change the duration with lash on new cam. I understand every lobe design will have different numbers. rockers, base circle and ramp design all come into effect. On my new cam 282/284,114 CL, .820/.800 lift cam. Normal .012 cold. I found close to 4 degrees per .010 lash. Checking CC I found avg. 8 pounds when looser. Just side note. Did not check cranking compression at various cam settings as this was just a sideline idea while doing a few things. Wondering if any others here have ever checked this and the findings. Bullet can tell you exactly how much. They can also tell you how much piston to valve clearance changes with cam advance or retard if you need to know that. https://postimg.cc/gallery/np3zpruo/ "Dunning-Kruger Effect" -a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge. Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue. 4X NE2 CHAMPION. 2020 TDRA NE2 Champion

Right now I wish piston to valve was a issue. Hell I thnk I would have ton even = or - 20*. I have more than dbl. what I would calll very safe. I figure Jones could tell me on this cam, but where is the fun in being told when you can tear into the engine and find out?LOL America home of free. Brought to you by 2nd amendment.
