other option would be a Pro Braket radial MT#3355R. I'm thinking about trying this on my next set. Currently on MT 28X10.5 slick works good on my 3700lb truck, Low 7 second 1/8mile.

M/T Pro Bracket Radial, pick your size, they're all good.
I'm running the 10.5 x 29.5 on an 8" rim.

Not sure how anyone could give you a good answer without seeing the truck work before or you having some data to input about it. Radials are great if the truck works. If it doesn't then they are a nightmare compared to a slick. JMO

Truck worked very well in the grudge world, ran 4.50s with big Ls nitrous motor. We've always ran big tire stuff, but noticed some run slicks and some run radials on the small tire bracket stuff...just looking for input.

I'm with those saying that if it will work on a bracket radial, that is your best bet.

I love my small tire radials! Be it Hoosier standard or lightweights, but the very slight edge goes out to the M/T Pro Bracket radials. Radials was one of the best things I did for my racing program. I still want to try the Goodyears one of these days.

You ever try the Hoosier Drag Bracket Radials?

I ran the Hoosier 30x9 "Stocker" tires for over 20 years and they were great. I can't say the DBR are definitively better, but I've been on them 3 years or so and plan to stay with them.

No, I haven't because of the tire sizes. The 29.5x10.5 I wouldn't be able to use due to the 13.2" section width. They don't have any 29.5" or 30" tall 9" wide tires & I don't want to use 28" tall tires.

Both the 28x9 and 29.5x10.5 M/T PBR's have taken everything I have thrown at them, resulting in all time best ET's, 60's, and consistency.
I have a pair of the Hoosier DBR's on the shelf, but they are so much bigger than the M/T's I can't fit them....yet.

48 degrees test and tune track, late, an observer walked up to tell me that the track was junk, and my car will never get down the lane.....record low ET pass at the 60', 660', and 1320'.

I know we had discussed this tire before but has anyone tried it?

Couldn't say much about the radials, but I love my Phoenix 28x10.5s. I bought them off a a no prepper at the beginning of the year and they have been absolutely awesome. I'm going 5.90s-6.0s on them and they are nasty consistent.
