Stiff or soft sidwall
We are in the same boat it sounds like. I run 5.40- 5.60 with my car, but only at 2875, and I have never been able to get stiff sidewalls to work as good as soft. My car has always worked better with a soft, and a lot more air pressure than most run.

Best I have been is 1.17 on soft sidewalls.
