For those that are running headlights on your dragster, what are you using? Lighting isn't the best as the tracks around here at night, and this time of year you're running at night pretty much....Want to put a set on so at least I can see in the runout area.....

LED lights

Yes you can find cheaper ones. Stock up on replacement bulbs if you go that route.

Colorodoracer I purchased a LED driving light pair at Pep Boys, about 20 bucks. I modified the bracket that came with them and mounted them to the top of the spindles so they will turn with wheels. The lights are 3" in diameter and are very bright (16 volt). I have not run the car since installing lights, so I don't no how durable they will be. I think they will be O.K.

I bought these and installed them on my dragster for the 2016 season, they are still working as good as the day I installed them. These are the exact one's I bought too, in the spot beam pattern. It looks like now they have other color housings as well as beam patterns also.

I took one of the bottom king pin cap bolts off and used the same bolt to bolt it through the bracket of the light on my dragster. Like I said, 4 seasons old and they still work very well, no rust or water buildup inside the light and they were super easy to wire up.

I love the lights I got from Scott and they turn the direction I turn the wheel to see even better at the end of dark race tracks.

On my dragster they are mounted to A-Arms so they always point forward but they are a wide style flood so they work good.
On my new altered I am considering mounting them them to the control arm so they will turn. Anyway they are so nice to have on dark return roads.

We put a set of these on my dad’s dragster and they work great. Nice and bright, and look good. Haven’t had them long but no issues so far. Good quality for $20 IMO.
