2 times I have bought used laptops for racing from Ebay…

Had to buy a new battery but both worked fine..

$200 for a Dell latitude....

I just spent a good amount of time updating mine and fixing my stored run data....

Still works well

I went to a local computer repair shop and bought a rebuilt one. All good parts & pieces and fully guaranteed for fractions on the dollar.

What N2Ofrog said. Get a business class laptop with Windows10 and you don't get all the fluff using up resources that you don't need.

If the only adjustment you want to make in Grid is to the Launch RPM value, MSD offers the 7751 module that allows you to make this adjustment without a laptop.
