Yes , Turbo Pro Trans. It’s prob a dime quicker than the 400. 3620# I’m pretty happy. Stock is not for everyone. I love to tune and not just the motor. I’m a bracket racer but I’m also a performance guy. Cars eat up efficiency and it’s a challenge to find it.This message has been edited. Last edited by: BP758, California Screaming! I have a mount fabricated under my car for a GoPro. I will use it from time to time to aid chassis tuning. 8.50 (1/4) car, 60' usually 1.18 to 1.19. https://youtu.be/Pl2QHPxsMog Very simple and effective as you can really see alot of whats going on if you pay attention. Can even see the left front tire and what it's doing in relation to the back. This season the car is getting shock sensors to correlate to the video, time slip, etc. Outside view. https://youtu.be/vojLYC1ak18

Very cool. Man, that ride just leaves! I'll try that with the camera underneath; my buddies are too busy with their own things to tape my launches. I may try to rig up some sort of scale with a pointer so I can better see how the suspension moves in relation to the frame.

Guys, other than I reckon premature wear of the sidewalls, does 'crushing' the tire like that also cause the contact patch to distort some, keeping the the tire face from pressing down evenly?

Thanks, Curtis. Can you or anyone explain to me why it is that those Mopars separate so much on the launch? Is it for the leaf spring being shorter and/or stiffer between the axle and front spring eye, than other springs?

BN, I've never messed with a Mopar personally but if I were to hazard a guess it is because the mounting points of the suspension are set up in a way to have a lot of anti squat. I believe most of them us a pinion snubber that possibly contributes by pushing up on the chassis. Sorry I don't have a better or more specific answer. That's okay, Curtis; thank you anyway. If the pinion snubber works the way I envision, then I can see how it could give the differential housing something to pry against to push down from the chassis.
