Cal of MDIn need of a front motor plate
Good afternoon all.
I am in need of a BBC Front Motor plate for a Chris Alston front end kit.
the part # is 6057.
It of course has been discontinued..
Let me know if you can help me out.
Even a paper template would help.
Thanks in advance.
Calvin
Can't figure out how to post a picture of it.

M120I'd reach out to S&W for a plate. Showing how long its been but Scott
Wenney said he could take a plate for my BBC and duplicate it for SBC, Mopar, Pontiac,... with same frame dimensions to bolt right in my cut up ****box chassis.
Like 1320 asked, where is the original plate?

Cal of MDThanks everybody.
I was told by Chassis Work, they no longer have the file. That there is no way they can help me.
O well, I will figure it out.
Thanks again

TomRAutofab or 1320 should be able to make you one. Rob usually has oversize blanks you can cut down to fit the chassis. Thats what I used on my Nova.

1320racerany chassis shop can make him one, he just needs to template it.
That said, the OP should contact Fabman aka Todd here. He lives in Maryland and works here

183NI’d reach out to S&W race cars. If you can send them the old one they can duplicate it on their water jet.
Many changes and improvements happening and planned at S&W.

Joe, did you convert a picture? I can draw it up but don't have the dims for where is sits on the rail and the mounting holes. I have different shaped SBC plates that have all the upper holes for the front of the block. I use Solidworks or Featurecam. Anything to keep me out of my Autocad program. LOL

The picture angle was not flat, so the dimensions were off. I used a cad of a BBC for the water pump and lower holes. The frame mounting holes are probably off by .030. I went and priced out a 29 x14 x .250 5052, and it was $84. After I did that, I went and looked, summit has a big one that could be cut down for $105 LOL.
