Cogged or V belt. Which do you use? Plusses and minuses?

V belt would screech once in a while when you go wide open and cause a distraction.
I have very limited adjustability on my dragster.

markemarkCogg. Belt only needs to be snug, not overly tight never slipping. This is 2-1, 150 amp alternator with 2 ga wire and always 14v+. Best belt upgrade I made in 2024. I never charge battery at the trackā¦..NEVER!!

Tom396I'll be d*mned. When I pictured a cogged belt, I didn't even consider a cogged
pulley . I've run a cogged belt with stock pulleys and didn't notice any difference. Guess I know why, now. Take care. Tom Worthington
