Off the subject a bit, but check out the Milwaukee Rocket light stand. It's an LED light stand that collapses down to approximately 30". It runs on a battery or 120v and it tosses out a good amount of light! It should work for many purposes at the track or where ever!

This isn't an endorsement but I ran on to these looking at high bay led lighting. Unfortunately I don't see them in white but the first one has an adjustable angle. I think painting them wouldn't be a big deal.

I had a new trailer built about 1 year ago and had them put Whelen 600 Series LED Scene Lights on the curb side . They give good light and don't use much power at all.

I bought these as I saw three people at the track that all had them and they worked great.
Have had them on my trailer for several years now.. Replaced my original floods. They work great.

@Dave -- I have a pair of similar LEDs that plug into the outside of my gold rush.
When they are on, it causes quite a bit of noise/interference in my trailer stereo speakers. I use a Denon mini-home stereo receiver with bose speakers.
Any fixes for this issue? CD

There is typically a different level of filtering for a 120V home system vs a Radio that is geared to run on 12V with a lot of RF interference in cars.

I don't know, as I do not currently have a radio in my trailer. But thinking about it some tracks broadcast on AM and they are notorious for a lot of noise.
I have been trying to find a radio that allows you to dial the station versus using seek at a reasonable price. Don't need or want a super duper one as I can't hear that well to tell the difference.

I use a home bookshelf system in my trailer and don’t have that issue, but my outside lights are hardwired where yours appear to be plugged in, and most likely to the same circuit as the stereo.

From the Whelen website - Did not know this, is it true?

I will have to check if there is a separate breaker for the bench outlets vs the outside and rear/inside outlets.

I did not know about the bug thing. I’ll be buying some especially for inside the trailer. The bugs get crazy around here in the summertime.
