For those that know me, we've been joking about the "Hombre" for about 3 years now. I completely blame Larry Woodfin for getting me hooked on building an S10 and Pat Barbone for selling me a super clean friggin Hombre for $300. For those that don't know, an Hombre is an Isuzu S10. Everything is actually S10 except for the entire nose and slightly flaired fenders and quarters, you probably won't see another except on the lowrider circuit Big Grin
It's been a time consuming nut and bolt build and with the help of a small handful of friends and my son Chris we've done the entire build in house.
I can only tolerate small bursts on the internet, so I'll start with the finished product and post some pics of the build in reverse Razz
We tested the truck this week for the first time and lets just say the results are beyond what we expected !!! It's a little slower than we thought but we can deal with that. Brand new build and we didn't turn a single screw or make any changes in 9 passes. It's a good one Smile
Here's the first two shakedown 1/8 mile runs and the first full pull ……….

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

Like many MSD products the output from the Shift Light is a negative signal and it needs to activate a relay if using a high powered electric coil model shift. This output will only drive a 2 amp load, and even then I’d use a diode to protect from flyback voltage.

To test, go to Shift Light tab and Enable the Power-On Test. Then every time you turn the ignition ON it’ll turn the Shift Light Output (Yellow wire negative signal) ON for 3 seconds. Disable when finished.
