Is he over his head with the electric thing, probably. Is he hard headed and stubborn about it, sure. Is he underfunded, most likely. But he's still doing what he loves, just like the rest of us.
He’s a drag racer! He’s an icon in the sport. We would not be here if it weren’t for guys like DG!
There is no way I would be doing what he is at 90!
They had a setback, no big deal.

imakehpHe had several "setbacks" while developing what is arguably THE most important development in drag racing history. Lucky for us he never gave up on the rear engine dragster.
He's earned the right to try anything he wants to, whenever he wants to.
We mere mortals should keep quite and enjoy the show.

1320racerThe FDNY has now issued warnings for the use and charging of lithium batteries after a bike store burnt down on Monday just as a bike shop in south Florida did last month.

It is going to be interesting to see what happens to electric vehicles at the end of their batteries useful life.
We see all the time, people will buy Chinese batteries on the cheap, and more and more garages will be burning down.
What happens when the fire starts in an apartment community? Will they admit to their faults at that point?

I saw a picture last week of a chinese lithium battery that had a smaller battery in the center and concrete on each end to add weight inside a larger case. Was supposed to be a higher amp battery. didn't perform as it should have, (big shock) so they dug into it and that's what they found.
