I need a little help in identifying this powerglide valvebody. It has no markings and no gaskets were installed. I see some passages have been modified and plugged but dont know what I am looking at. This message has been edited. Last edited by: RyanNorton1,

I think it is a standard, full tree, valve body with brake. It does not show in the photo, I am assuming it has a solenoid screwed into the case. Larry Woodfin

some builders omit the gaskets, others install factory gaskets. To my experience, they work fine either way. Larry Woodfin

Try Turbo Action. Looks like the bracket brake in Revis's Nova. His is an OLD Turbo Action.

So far Ryan has only mentioned identifying brand. Do you know the proper solenoid stroke or case to plunger depth for an old Turbo Action bracket brake? Or whatever valve body it ends up being? I don't. I'm presuming these are the types of questions in play.
