Black Widow spacer
I am in the process of getting my small block back together. One of my close friends wants me to
try an Edelbrock 2925 in place of my super victor with 4500 flange with spacer. Does anyone have any history with the APD black widow spacer good or bad?

I don't know how much hp your engine makes but I bet it loses et with the 4150 style instead of the 4500. The spacer would possibly get you back the plenum volume you would lose. That's not a great intake to start with.

Curtis, the intake has been fully worked by Brad West and proven on another engine. We are doing this as an experiment; we may change back after testing. The super sucker is also an experiment.

It is a nice 413 with fully worked Track 1 heads, high compression, and all good parts. It has already run 6.12, and we are making some improvements, so it should run 6.0's

Well that's a different animal than was presented in the OP. LOL Those intakes need the help from stock form.

Not apples to apples but we have a 406 @2720lbs S-10 and with a 2925 just plenum ported by Chad Spier with an old azz adapter to a 4500 1050 carb that goes 6.1x I have a new Dominator intake to try but think it will slow down W/o some work being done to it, would love to know your results.

Curious, what model # SV was on it prior?
