It is something I am thinking about. [after having several enclosed trailers] What are some nice, well built, easy to load trailers? Larry Woodfin

There are a number of good manufacturers...I had my 18' open trailer built locally...I would recommend you upgrade to LED lights, radial tires and 8' aluminum ramps...I also had them put a 4x8' diamond plate up front to put my scooter on...later I had them add another diamond plate at the rear since my slicks were so wide...

I have an older 18' that I purchased from my brother in law ages ago. I have repainted it several times and the last time completely re-wired it and put LEDs on it. Huge improvement! It's come in handy for a number of emergencies along with going to the track on occasion. Unfortunately I don't think the builder is in business anymore but they were up near Budds Creek, MD. I do however envy those tilt bed trailers, I imagine that they take a little getting used to but they sure look easy as far as loading/unloading.

Larry look at these. I almost pulled the trigger on one but went ahead with enclosed since I have a roadster. http://www.texastrailerman.com/new20.htm http://www.texastrailerman.com/New32.htm ____________________________ 2017 and 2018 Osage Casinos Tulsa Raceway Park No-Box Champion 2018 Div4 Goodguys Hammer award winner

Larry been using 18’ with beaver tail and 4.5 ramps and been happy. I paint the deck every 2 years , it’s all steel with diamond plate deck. When not at the track Camaro is on the trailer on jacks and stored inside. I upgraded to leds all round, it has 15” rims but found “E” rated tires and never had a flat . Trailer w 1740, Camaro weight 2760. When I need to work on the car it’s on a nice clean work bench.... LOL Did I say this very easy to load and tie down... HAVE THEY CALLED US YET ? THEY HAVE!!!

Larry, consider all aluminum like ATC or Featherlite. No maintenance. I had an all-aluminum 18’ ATC with beavertail and lift off fenders for 3 yrs prior to getting an enclosed. I sold it for almost what I paid for it.

I have one that looks similar to the ones in the link. Mine does not tilt but has a box like those. Box is very nice. Only regret is mine is only 16 ft behind the box. If I did it again I would go to 20 foot.

I got a Featherlite with a 20 ft deck awhile back. Don't think you can beat it but its about 1/3 the weight of my tri axel 30 ft enclosed Pace. I come home from the track and back the whole thing in the garage and shut the door. There is an outfit around Ocala,FL builds a nice aluminum just like the featherlite -- 18ft was $4350. 352-342-5184
