Has anyone tryed both of these tires? What is the difference in them? My digger rins 4.40’s-4.50’s. Im running the MT 3195 now but don’t know anything about the 3196

I would say if you had both sets on two sets of wheels and made runs on the same day you would not see any differences on the time slips!

3196's has a tougher compound to resist chunking.

I have never had CHUNKING with my 3195’s. That’s the only tire I have run for the last 3 years

Agree, back to back I seen no change on my ride. Had 3195 that chunked in 46 passes (running 6.50’s at the time) MT replaced with a 3196 and no change in et or the way the car reacted (same settings and psi). Have 40 runs on 3196 (6.20’s) and no chunking but know a few have but they were in the 6-teens 1/4 mile range.

Where’s the best place to order a set of 3196’s these days? Not interested in Jegs or Summit. Last set I ordered from Chris Barker a few years back, not sure if he’s still dealing.
