wideopen2312 stage fuel system mfi
While pretty sure the answer, going to ask anyway.
Anyone running a 2 stage fuel system with MFI? Just reworked system in FED anf going off sound and ungodly throttle responce I aqm dying to make a few pass's.
If running a syatem that runs on one system and adds fuel when full throttle or leans when staged and two step on with SLE . If any or all of above either post here or send PM and lets chat.

AlaskaracerI don't know much about this other than what I know some friends have done. One had a system very similar to what the pro mods and top alky guys run now, there is a check valve in the distribution block for the manifold nozzles that requires a certain amound of fuel pressure before it opens..basically the car idles on hat nozzles. Never seen a system that leans it out on the two step though, most just let the excess fuel go out the exhaust....

wideopen231Before it goes out exhaust it has to be cooling combustin chamber and flooding the plug. I should have stated when on 2 stagfe with SLE. SLE is reason for l/O.
My 2 stage works off throttle, not poppet. I have had Blown alky with port poppet and most all are open way before full throttle. At 6pk plus stage with 20 gpm pump you would need very high pressure poppet ,plus need fuel when swapping feet and load is hitting engine with clutch hitting.
Do appreciagte the reply.

wideopen231I know before I worked this sytem out it was fat onb low end almost impossible to build heat. Now I joked I had it too crisp. Did make few decent hits with it and picked up low end good amount. Can not say anything about top end since track was slick from 330 on. Picked up ,02 in 60's with no other changes
