I just replaced my 28 yr old Final Round II with a new Eliminator Next Gen.

This has the Press to capture reaction time feature in the Button Motion Settings.

That's interesting, but since it physically latches down, I'd think you are adding another variable to the reaction time.

You need to press the button down to unlatch it, and then release it to actually open the circuit. Unless it breaks the circuit when pressed in, but I wouldn't think so.

right now I am to cheap or too much of broke dyke to buy a next gen. I have a online reaction tester I found. Works when light comes on you hit a button or use mouse. I do it like TB button. Its practice is all I can say. To be consistent you have to hit same spot on mouse every time.Moving spot any will change it good amount. But at least its push to trip.

These newer practice trees offer more programmable options of what is actually used at the tracks today.

With this Eliminator Next Gen, I especially like the ability to program the actual Auto Start times and download the results to my laptop that I leave attached for practice evaluation.

Here’s something for free from Bogacki to practice with auto start.
