Probably a problem getting people to do the work.

We could double our service billing if we had the people to do the work.

Eeeerybody wants a check, nobody wants to work. Frown

Its partly my fault for not sending in my BTE backup sooner after it lost the sprag-so plan ahead if you have converter issues

Depends who you send it too, TSI , FTI are two who are business as usual, I know of. Or PTC, none of these people mess around.

I usually ask how long.

I tried to get TCI on the phone not to long ago for some info on a used converter we bought, without any luck on several attempts. I definitely would not send anything to anyone I couldn't get on the phone, If I wanted to race.

Not bashing TCI, they're a good outfit but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

How is it that 2 converters are in for "repair" for the same combo at the same time. Me thinks the OP sent them in to be freshened/rebuilt which you don't do unless making a stall change and even then I would advise against sending back a good converter. My advice would be just buy another.

As usual Ed you take the devils side on every issue you can to try to stir B.S. I said I waited to long to send in the BTE as it is not a converter I was very happy with its performance and no sent the TCI in because I was looking for a problem on why my car slowed so just piss-off jerk -oh ya congrats to Kyle on his win.

I argue that you dont need 2 identical converters, you need 1 that is 200-300 looser than the other. That way, you have a good weather converter and a swamp azz converter. But hey, im not known as the sharpest tool in the shed

I agree but your best chance of getting that from most converter builders is to tell them you want an identical converter to what you currently have. Laughing Hard
