Ok don't have to be expert, good knowledge will do.

If you are taking guess at shock for a dragster suspension for front end. Had 340# on front end pivot point is 24" back and about 30 degree angle.

What shock and spring weight? Shock needs to be about as short as can get since longer shock would require more angle to get into space allowed.

Not enough info. If this is a teeter-totter than you will need both lengths or the measured ratio and the angle. The correction factor for a shock mounted at 30deg is .87

Not exactly sure what you all calling teeter totter. I think second design would qualify for that. Basically straight axle welded up to a triangulated cage that pivots off bottom center and has shock in rear section mounted to frame and assembly.

First and would rather use if it will work. Front section of chassis bolted lower rail with slip joint top rail and shock mounted to crossbar .Upper mounted to front and lower mount at crossbar behind bolted section. Hell of lot easier if using a pencil than it is with the keyboard to get design across.

Right now lower bar is welded and top rail is slip joint with inner stop and bolted limitier. It will raise 2 to 3 inches in middle before picking front wheels if loosened.Easy to convert to deisgn 1. Biggest thing would be rack and pinion instead of draglink steering.
