Looks like you have a little hop there. If you had more clicks available you could tighten the compression. I'm assuming these are the same JRI's still correct? I had a guy we sold a set of LMP's with a Vanishing point Baretta pushing the 7's n/a . I worked with him on Ohlins LMP's through text messages 2 - 3 trips to the track and we had this thing riding perfect, I wish I had the images of those graphs, the phone fell off my lift and I lost them. Perfect WS deadly consistent S/Pro car. It was a joy to work on, every change we made responded positively according to fundamental. We had it perfect in 6-7 laps on a regular prep track. Nice car.

I believe it, have had several people tell me to stop go 4.30 gear but seems like that would just make it work the converter harder. Maybe that's not a bad thing just seems like additional heat for no reason but I'm just guessing.
I am not as fast as you nor do I have as much motor as you but I run a 4.30 gear with a 548 motor and have run 5.21. I don’t think it has much left in it. As far as torque converter heat I don’t even have a trans cooler and don’t have issues.

What does your car weigh? 5.20 out of a 548 is getting after it.

Yes same shocks which I'm not in love with but they are OK. We tried to get the lmp's and it didn't work out.

Do you have a shock potentiometer? That's great data that can often point you in a direction. I didn't see it in the graph. Does your suspension separate initially or compress immediately?

I accept 100% responsibility for blowing that sale, If I hadn't opened my big mouth to insure we were sending you a product that would fit the car properly for ride height and performance, we could have experienced some seriously awkward moments together on the phone over me sending you the WRONG main body for your car. The LMP's would't have fit your car. The TTX's at ride height only had 2.35 - 2.50" of compression stroke, of the 7" available. You really need to get the floor situated in that car, where you can use long strokes if need be on compression. I'd say the JRI's are working great for the environment they're working in according to a 1.09 60 ft. If you have a shock with a 7" stroke, you wanna be able to have the adjustment range to install the shock with 3.5 - 4" of shaft showing out of the main body minimum if the first principle is performance, and not the sale.
We try to sell performance, not awkward moments. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Mike Rietow,

2600 plus or minus a couple pounds with me in it.

You're not taking a fundamental approach in coming to a conclusion on this. The data we have says Inferno's car runs exceptionally well early in the run (1.08 - 1.09 60 ft) and late in the run (5.06 139), in comparison to the middle of track, it's soft. If it ran exceptionally as well in the middle, it would be pushing the 4's n/a, based on the data.

Middle of the track could simply be shift rpm.

It could be but it's not, nobody I know has worked any harder at this than inferno. He's shifted this thing everywhere under the sun.
It's the gearing. For momentum in the middle, the data tells us the drive shaft needs to be closer to 1:1 with the crankshaft. Torque.
Leave the current SLR alone 1.58 or 1.64 low, with a higher numerical final gear.

Soft in the middle, not digging after the shift.

Didn't see this question. rpm HP 6000 1047 6100 1057 6200 1067 6300 1075 6400 1083 6500 1087 6600 1090 6700 1090 6800 1088 6900 1094 7000 1092 This where the pull was ended.

Best has been 5.003@139 with a normal range 5.02-5.06 depending on the track and conditions. 137-139mph

Damn, that is a nice flat powerband... Looks like the cam is very well matched to the rest of the combo. Gives you plenty of room for error on shift point, should be very forgiving and consistent as hell.

From what we can see here peak torque is 916 @ 6000rpm
Torque = hp x 5252 / rpm
Converter looks good.
6800-7400 it'll make the best a to b hp average

It is 916 @6000 but peak was 934 @ 5400

Yeah, I know, that's minutiae in the terms we're talking. Although it explains the relatively exceptional 60ft, some. Below stall the converter multiplies torque.

That's a pretty decent hot rod. I'd pay real close attention to safety precautions driving that one, I wouldn't jump in that with flip flops and I'd be looking at wearing Hans device, for sure.
