Wondering if anyone know how much a reid bell housing weighs on two piece case. Reason take too long to type.Plus get lots of comments on doesn't matter or don't worry about that.

Weight of bell housing alone if you know it would be helpful.

Thanks.Helps me figure difference in cases. I know going from JW case and bell to Reid is about 15lbs. Looks like about 6 of that is in the bell so case is 8to 9 lbs .Doesn't seem possible. Remeber mine is full housing and lot more covered area than a BBC is.

Guess I can wait to weigh them against each other

On a FED your legs are over the transmission and the family jewels are over the rear end. That is not any place you want to save weight.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.
