Looking for someone near northern Illinois to wrap or paint trailer skin on a 42 ft fifth wheel trailer. 78 inches of skin and a total of 551 sq ft in gloss white. Panels are in good shape but original paint is dull & chalky. Panel screws will need to be removed & reinstalled. It sits outside so it needs to be durable.

You might be suprised what a little elbow grease and a couple bottles of NuFinish will do if its just chalky

I believe before you can wrap it you have to remove all the old chalky paint and wax. So there will be elbow grease involved no matter what you do.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

Some areas had signage that was removed. Faded paint & shadows are visible. I will wash it & wipe it down with grease / wax remover.

If not a reskin, run it through a Blue Beacon truck wash, then look it over.
You may be shocked how good it looks. They have chemicals that work.

Maybe a graphic of your own to cover up the old?
Wrapping is probably not the answer unless it was a smooth side with no screws.

I too am looking or a good, reasonable painter in SoCal [Bellflower is where the trailer is located] for our 32 foot trailer with screws. We already replaced all of the screws.

Why not check with your local Maaco Autobody
My father in law owned a independent Autobody shop out here in MA and retired to AZ and had a Maaco paint a couple hot rods and was very impressed with their work

No experience but I am certain that Mickey Truck Body in Bloomington will paint any trailer.

T&E in Herscher might have a third party if you can get it out if them.
