This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.
Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

It depends. All the principles applied, depend on nature.
Nature -the basic or inherent features of something, especially when seen as characteristic of it.

I hate to be serious here, but here is my setup:
Upper hole in front.
With weight in the seat and car on the ground, adjust driver’s side bar to just make contact with the spring. Do the same with the passenger bar, then lengthen the bar an additional two flats/half turn.

I saw a man have a car on the lift. All 4 wheels off the ground and he set them like that. No way that could be right.

That was my best setup too but the exception was right bar barely touching the spring. Left bar with about 2 flats of gap to the spring. Pinion 6 degrees down compared to driveshaft. My car hated any preload in the bars.
