When going to MG, going North on 222 we have to get on the Turn Pike for about 10 or 12 Miles.
If I remember correctly it was only like $8.00.
If you go though the little towns and tear down one of the cables crossing the roads, it can be very expensive!.
Just a thought.

I also use a TSD fuel card and another from mydieselsavings.com. The MDS card seems to have better savings on average, but a smaller network of participating stations.

My rig goes about 40,500 lbs and gets 7.5 with a 430 hp C12 Cat with the cruise usually set at 70-72.

Yep, this past weekend. Friday night and Sunday morning. Past several troopers too, no issues.

I just finished doing some work on an F-750 Ford Toy Hauler. Cat engine. Onan 7.5 diesel

A Very nice unit. Has a garage area in rear with a lift gate for Dirt Bikes.....The owner is big into Motorcross with his son....very big !!!

Don't know if he tows a trailer but it easiy could....

Turned it around in our rear lot area and like any long MH or Toter maneuvering in our lot is not easy.....

Impossible with a trailer.......

They are great once you're where ever you're going BUT getting there can be an adventure I'm sure.....No thanks !!!

I've been hauling 70'+ race rigs since the 90's. I can use a motorhome with a tag style trailer and back it up anywhere, however my gooseneck conversion is not good to back up.......in fact it sucks. It takes 3 football fields before the trailer starts to turn. Still well worth owning it though.

Before the start of the 2022 season, I'll be doing routine and preventative maintenance including new tires, truck batteries, belts, hoses, filters, oil and fluid changes. I'm also going to be replacing the 12v incandescent downlights in my coach

with LED downlights to match the lighting of the fixtures that I have already swapped the incandescent bulbs to LEDs.

After some quick research it appears that the go to 12v RV LED puck lights are Facon which is made in Vietnam and Risestar made in china Super Angry with Falcon having a higher failure rate. Meanwhile, I'll continue to look for a US made replacement.

So who has done the same and which brand did you use?

probably not going to find us made lights any more and definitely not the LED's.

We are going to sell our American Revolution LE and get a Toter as well for next year. The 400HP and bath and a half is nice but I am wanting to get something more purpose built if we are going to drive 25-40K miles a year.

Ed. Please add something that lets you monitor the trailer interior from your truck cab. Video, sensors ??
I’ve see enough stores of rolling fireballs to understand the risk to your top shelf equipment.
Also buy a few huge fire extinguishers

Paul, it's on my off season list of things to do.

Does anyone sell/market a system just for this purpose? Also Need to install a combination smoke and CO detector in the motorhome too.

I don't know if anybody makes a system. Most that I know now are just using a wireless camera system. It you got one that had sound you could put a smoke alarm in the trailer also. Then it would alert you without you having to pay much attention to the monitor.

The old system I use had 12 volt latching smoke alarms tied to a siren and light. I carry two Halon fire extinguishers, one inside the trailer door and one in the back of the pickup.

I also found a really neat fire extinguisher mount on Ebay. It is made in China however. I tried to find one similar that's made somewhere else with no success. Works really well and looks nice too.

First. One important question. What brand refrigerator is in that unit. Norcold? Dometic? or was it replaced with a home type unit? Beautiful
looking unit. Looks like it was never used. One note: Under the center of the middle where the cup holder is. there is a brake pressure switch that is prone to failure. If it goes bad,you will hear air leaking when you release the brake via the dash control valve. It is a simple 2 pin switch. Looks like an oil pressure switch. If in fact if it is in that location.

Some where mounted to the air block under the hood above the steering column.. I normally keep these in the service truck. Just a couple pointers.

After seeing pages of burned up motor/toter homes on FB, I put a residential fridge in mine. It needed a new fridge anyway.
