2001 2500 hd,auto lever would no come out of park, after fooling with it for a while it came out and drove fine. now it wont go into park. doesnt feel like brake interlock solenoid. and shifter has a lot of slop all of a sudden, any ideas? thanks

Shifter cable needs to be replaced.
