Let's Talk Line Locks
My B&M line loc recently started leaking badly where the wires go in at the most inopportune time, in the final of a pro tree footbrake race, cost me the "W".

So I'm looking to replace it with something different. Thinking the Hurst version.

Anyone have experience/input on it?

Also looked at the Biondo, but it looks too similar to my leaky B&M unit.

Hurst Roll Control Solenoid 5667550. This same one has been in my car since 1992. Push button and pump brake pedal until firm. I use it with the TB also.

Hurst Roll Control Solenoid on my car since late 90'S. But who knows if the new ones are as good.

Thanks for the replies guys, the Hurst looks like the most robust unit. The TCI does also. Hopefully the Hurst, now Holley brands are still the same quality.

The Hurst model has 3 outlet ports that can eliminate the front L/R Tee used in installs if desired.

Hurst, 25 years on my car. I've had it apart to repair when I was dumb enough to use teflon tape on the threads. Real simple to take apart and rebuild, just have to use the correct type of O-rings. Learned that when I used buna O-rings, all of that and it's still working great despite me.

I agree with Markemark. I have had one since the early 1990's. No problems.

My 1965 manufactured Hurst unit has been working great on my car, since 1999.

I like that model too for those extra exit ports, and have a brake pressure gauge connected to one of them.
