Hardley Davidson
Well Harley Davidson bought the NHRA Pro Stock bike title for many years by putting lots of money into NHRA and writing their own rules. Now it looks like they are backing out of Vance and Hines and NHRA .Wonder if NHRA will grow a set and go back to fair rules where all run same weight and cubic inches? Pro Stock Bike has been a total joke for years and stupid announcers acting like how fast the Harleys are. Never a word about the huge advantage over real motorcycles because they wrote the rules. NHRA sold their soul to the Devil and the Devil stopped payment on the check.

HD was with the NHRA 20 years, longer than Coke and they owe them nothing. It's no surprise they are out, HD is right there with the NHRA...dying a slow painful death!

Op is clueless of what makes up a real motorcycle.

MADE IN USA first 6 speed gearbox production Harley Davidson 2006 Dyna Street Bob.

115 hp 6 speed, no production HD can touch you.

I wouldn't buy one today the Trump tariffs forced Harley to manufacture in China.

Obviously he's never ridden much less owned a hot rod Harley Davidson.

Harley Davidson is dying slow at the same rate as everything else US Empire related.

There's gonna be millions and millions new campers in the US, new NHRA title sponsor is secure. Millions of first time campers US, looking forward.

Keep a sponsor for 20 years is unheard of.

Undeniable fact is the Harley Davidson is a 100 plus year old design and can not compete on an equal playing field with most other brands. Grossly inferior and if it was so good it could compete with SAME rules.

You can argue about it being a good cruiser but as for racebikes it is not in same league.

And if it is so great why are you saying they are dying? Hmmm.

When they first started they had almost TWICE the cubic inches as the Suzukis. Even now they still have a very significant cubic inch advantage to allow them to play in big leagues.

In Pro Stock cars do you think it would be Fair if Toyota became a HUGE sponsor of NHRA and was allowed to run Toyoata cars with 900 Cubic inches and 4 valve heads or a 1271 Blower? Why do you think it is okay for Harley to have almost twice cubic inches? Am I missing something? Are you saying American built stuff is inferior and needs that advantage to compete?

I am saying if they are that good make the SAME rules for all and run them.

Everything is dying except camping supplies and big corporations permitted to earn while small business's were not permitted to earn..

There will be millions of mortgage forbearance first time campers in 2021.

That's a really low IQ question.

Wasn't speaking of where I live, but the 69 million first time unemployment claims and the 20 to 30 million people currently on the dole. The 7 trillion created out of thin air. The 7 million at least 3 months behind on their lease.

The fallout kicks off in 2021. Eventually like a thief in the night officials show up behind a podium, with the bad news, pretending just like 2007, it caught em all by surprise.

Why is Harley going broke.... Why is everyone more like.

Harley is dying because of stupid ass move to build overseas. The hard core Harley folks will not have anything to to with that crap.

I own two and would not ride anything else. That Said I will not buy a new one period. Made in USA is what kept Harley alive. If the want to pay some slant eyed to build them then let them buy the damn thing. I know they still build here ,but opening a plant in China is just unamerican and I will not support that. No different them few others things I will not but because of company action comment or groups they send money to.

I just think rules should be the same for all. Do you think it is fair for the Harleys to run almost twice the Cubic Inches, fuel injection, 4 valve heads? If you think that is fair then we will just have to agree to disagree.

I like when people think outside the box and even stretch the rules. I do not like when they rules are not the same for all.

I do not like MEN being allowed to run or play in WOMEN'S sports. Same junk allowing Harley to write their own rules.

Got to hate comp if think rules should all be the same regardless of engine design.

NHRA and Harley Davidson ruined the prostock motorcycle class. No one was allowed to run a Harley except Vance and Hines. You could not buy engine parts, bodywork a chassis nothing. Yea that's a level playing field. Why don't you guys ask George Bryce what happened when he tried to field a harley. NHRA told him flat out if you bring a harley you won't even make it thru tech.

I don't have a problem with there being different rules for a V engine but as Richard wrote only V&H being able to run a Harley and/or buy parts for them is what was done wrong.. I lost all respect for Harley for doing that.

Should Matt Smith and others not be able to run Buells then if you don't want different rules? Different rules are needed many times to make a class interesting and diversified. Look at Pro Mod. 4 different ways to get there. How would you have just one set of engine rules for that?
