Has anyone had an issue with no response when ripping your throttle. When I rip the throttle in my dragster it has no response. I never had this happen. I put a new 9-degree motor and converter this season. I thought maybe it was my throtle bracket or SLE so I changed them but still same issue. There have been a few occasions where it will respond and the throttle rips.

Any help is appreciated.

Do you mean that the engine actually does not respond, or you just aren't seeing it on the ET / MPH?

1st thought would be a binding throttle cable / linkage.

Spragless converter?

SLE enhancer needs more PSI. Your extending the cylinder with rapid whacks

Yeah, don't whack your cylinder so rapidly.

I didn't even think of that. Makes a lot of sense.

Yep what everyone else said. I run mine at 80 psi. The stiffer the throttle return spring the higher you will need the PSI.

What carb?

We’ve had this issue before and had to send the carb back to the builder for an adjustment and it’s been perfect ever since.
