Brodix recommends -9 on gas. The engine is 16.1-1 using renegade pro 116 gas.

I use -8 in my 16-1 rat with Q-16.

-9, 15.6:1 running on Sunoco Maximal

I think Autolite fixed their problems Ed.

Never had a issue....AR3933X is their latest....

The -9 sounds like the correct plug along with an Autolite AR 3932 or 3933, Autolite used to be a great plug, they dont last very long for some reason, not for me anyway.

For those running with alky carb, what plugs are you using?

I ran the same -8 or -9 in the NGK. Never ran the autolites with alky.

I don't have HeadHunters, but I run -7 in my cars on alky.

I guess I can't tell you the best conditions that I've raced in, but I don't change plugs for weather. We are around 900' actual and don't get many race days with the barometer above 29 here.

I run my carbureted 468 pretty fat, and the injected 632 would blacken plugs with the Primer Plus, so I use a little hotter plug to keep them clean. Both cars run fine on -8 as well.
