Foot, I have installed both and like both. Both give equally good service. I think the long term advantage goes to the conventional, screw together fittings because of the ease of service. The push-lock style can be a rough job to install, especially in the larger sizes. [I do know about the install tools available] Whereas the screw together style is easily serviced on the car and able to be reused over and over. My go-to setup these days is the fiber covered hose with two-piece fittings. Easy to make up, easy to service, excellent service life. Of note, my favorite is Aeroquip fittings and their "Startlite" black hose. Larry Woodfin | |||
