Like I said put a brake light switch activated by pressure. Use it to turn on a brake light and when it opens it can trigger what ever you want. Brake lights are legal.

Why not put a WOT switch on the carb like you would with nitrous? Once you deck the pedal it starts the timers

My intent with trying to develop this different FB method for Grid is to make this as “Simple” and inexpensive to install as possible. That means a simple brake light type switch to indicate the brake pedal is pushed. I also need a racer to install, test and prove what I believe will work in Grid with this new “Always ON” FB method. This is the hardest part. I don’t personally test my programming beliefs in FB for Grid. I wait for those wanting what I write to try. The programming and understanding of how this new “Always ON” FB method should work is what I’m trying to write instructions for now. The information provided in this forum about what racers use for staging rpms is important in trying to determine the parameters of programing using this method.
