I am an old, experienced drag racer. [my age is 77] I have lost count of the cars I have built. I am just about finished with a 75 Vette for a customer so, of course, being an old, experience racer who knows who to win, I must be planning the next project. My builds are often unique, which I like. The quest: I want to build the barest bones, most stripped down, lightest door car possible. [while retaining a neat appearance] Help me brainstorm about which body fits this request. There may be some out there that I have not considered. It will have a relatively mild SBC and I want the performance in the 6.40's ET range. The last several I have done use methanol with a carburetor. I have built both ladder bar and four link.
Be very different. AMC Gremlin or Pacer or Hornet....

https://postimg.cc/gallery/np3zpruo/ "Dunning-Kruger Effect" -a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.
Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

I agree, some of the ones that guys run in T/S are super cool looking as well. My son had a blue Cobalt for his high school car, and I thought at the time it would be a great body shape to put a tube chassis under.
