We are having an ignition issue I believe. The first run of the day was normal. On the second run, left lazy, did not build rpms, sounded like it was on a rev limiter. The rpm readings were erratic, showed 9000+ and tripped our maximum rev limiter.



On the third run, we changed the crank sensor and wheel, and removed all the step retard wires. Within a second of the run, the maximum rev limiter tripped despite the rpms not showing they reached the max rev limiter rpm setting. The rpms were again erratic.



Burnouts have been good and the 2 step also. When we checked the ignition timing, it has been steady. It only happens after the launch. We are using the Grid 7730 and 7720.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should enable both the Ignition In and Out channels with this problem. You have a PM..
