Chad, when is he going to put it in the Nova? That is quite an accomplishment for you, Cobb and everyone involved.

Another question. Is the (in HG) vac reading correct? At -21 is this sustainable? Thought pumps were regulated much lower than this…. but I don’t use one, just evac, curious.

My SB2 was pulling 22-23 on the dyno, I have dropped it down some since. For Drag racing probably would not hurt it short runs but that may not be good on NASCAR or other motors that run 500 miles like that?
A vacuum pump can help ring seal and general seal of your motor while helping pull moisture out of motor.

900 Hp out of a 23* Standard runner head is impressive for sure. What was the RPM on that?

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

Made peak HP at 8000.

How much head/manifold do you need for a 462 to peak at 8000? A LOT! Smile

That is very nice. A lot of big blocks with more cubic inches do not make that much. Care to give a little more information on cam?

I do not know the cam specs, that was designed by Chris. Just know it had lots of lift in it.

Would be crazy for Chris to give out cam specs but I bet becoming a customer would get you one. Relaxing

I talked to Steve last night and Chris thinks there is 20 in the manifold. So being the type of guy he is, pulled it off to be ported. Going back on the dyno. Stay tuned!

20 would be huge to pick up from that manifold. From what I saw on them, they're pretty good to start with.
