The TA/d team I help uses race pak. I have issue downloading. have they key peice installed that allow me to veiw runs but can not download directly to my computer. I have to have lil brother email me files then open and save. afterwards I can open and read run datat just like normal.

Does anyone have an idea as to what I need to do to make direct download possible? I had Todd suppsosedly fix issue but did not.

Is this happening when pulling the SD card and trying to read it in your laptop?

I am fighting getting mine going again after 2 year car down time and a replaced hard drive. I can record to the card but cannot read it.

Lost my old configuration files but was able to read them from the 300sd minus the math channels I made up..

I also wiped both of my SD cards sometime over the 2 years it was down, dumb ass.

Here's the stupid thing I did, I downloaded the next upgrade version 5.0.3...

You would need the config info. That's a Windows folder located in RacePakData on your C: drive with a name something like PROIIA_1234 IIIA will change with your model and of course the serial number of your unit. You can copy it from the main computer or you can re-install the license disk.

yes 5.0.3 can be problematic I'd recommend 4.8.12

I removed the 5.03 and installed the 4.8.12.

It looks like it reads the SD card now. I got my old configuration back but there's a couple of added channels I do not use like the 4-corner shock. Can I get rid of them?

No, you can't remove "internal" channels (like shocks, Analog xxx, digital in etc) in your config file. However they won't show up in your data log.

You know I got to ask a favor of you. You posted around a year ago how to save all this to a drive. Would you repost that link. I did save it at the time but lost it with the hard drive.
