Any freason wiring TB to 3 pole switch would cause pfroblem? Up position wired so TB button send power to solenoid and down send thru delay box.

Would make easier to activate backup w/o being able to accidentally hit later since now power to solenoid and box has built in delay after leave b4 tb can be used. Also not have to reset box before stage. Just less to do.

Would extra switch cause issue with delay function other than one more connection to go bad if shoit hgappens?

It will only take one time of forgetting to disarm the switch to burn up the solenoid.

Maybe did not explain clearly, bad about that at times. still have to push TB button to activate since pwer coming from button to switch.

Damn com;piuter lost whole paragraph. Try again.
Power from TB button to center pole switch. solenoid to bottom pole and dealybox to top pole. No power anywhere unless button pushed. then postion decides where goes out to.

Reason thinkiong on subject is i did exactly that two yuears ago . climbing out of car in trailer hit backup and never killed main power to f--- uos oine time and 150 buck lesson. Oh if never climbed out of fed in trailer with light over head should try it good test of flexablity for old guy.LOL

Sounds logical, but you’re adding an opportunity for error.

I have a separate backup button that is tiny and in a place that most would never notice and couldn’t be accidentally bumped during normal operation of the car.

Just wire another button with in reach for back up that way doesn’t effect box and make sure it’s a momentary button so you could hit it getting in or out and will only engage while pushed and nothing to forget and screw up a pass

As is wired like stated only way to f==up is hitting reguler TB button and not be bypassing box. In case of onlt thing have to do is reset box, sames if had no back up button.

Tested last night after wiring. Like was it works and seems only real issue would be bad switch or connection. Hoping new soilder gun helps with last one.
