Strange Evolution Stainless Steel Rear Brake Kits
Looking for feedback on these brake kits.

I am currently looking at the dual brake kits for a TD running primarily 1/8 mile at 4.10 - 4.40.

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

I'm not knocking these brakes because I haven't used them but you might want to check out this thread on Yellowbullet. Videos of what the guy is dealing with in post 18.

Is there a reason you don't use the TBM rotors?

TD-still looking for rotors that won't warp...

Curious what difference you all may have noticed from traditional strange setup when switching to Tbm

Stopping power better? ET difference? Etc

I just felt like these last longer... Ive used moser, mw, tbm, lamb, and strange... these new strange seem better for my setup as far as longevity

they were on a new car and felt good but were dragging a little when pushing it around.. so I put the tbm's on... never ran the new strange calipers on the track.... yet anyway

So I decided to pull the trigger on the Strange brakes this morning. They recommended using the softer black pads to reduce material transfer. Thanks for the feedback.

Not to derail this thread as the OP has committed to a purchase.

With the sale at TBM, I’m on the fence to replace the stock front brakes on my 3rd gen that is strictly 1/8 mile @ 114 mph max. Basically it’s $1500 to drop 30#. The stock front discs work perfect and the stock pads are 2x the size of the TBM pads 2 piston replacement that has the same piston area.

I have a rattle noise in the front steering some ware when not going straight and am going to remove everything from the aftermarket K member in spring and redo the coil over struts. This would be the time to make the change. How many are using the 2 piston TBM model fronts? How often are you changing front pads?
