I am currently looking at a new truck to me. The truck I am interested in is a 2016 GMC Denali, just seeing if anyone has any previous issues good or bad with this year?

We had a 2015. Great truck We now have a 2019. If the 2016 you are looking at has been well taken care of, go for it. We have had nothing but great GMCs, including a 2003, which was an exceptional truck.

Most common problems are glow plugs and the DEF tank heater. Im not a big fan of the CP4 pumps GM used on 2011 to 2016 LML and LGH engines. Most pump problems are caused from water in the fuel but i've seen a few die on there own.

I have a 2016 Denali from when it was new. It has no problems. I have 22K miles on it. I pull a 48 GN trailer and love it. I have added 4 cameras from ROSTRA and what a difference. I have 1 on each mirror, front grill amd a qireless in back of my trailer. So far no problems. A close friend has offered to buy it from me. Great truck.

I ended up buying a 2015 SLT with a Duramax with 60000 miles. I towed with it this past weekend for the first time and what a difference from my 2007 2500 6 liter!
