CashflowInterior cooling fan for door car?
First question is do they help any with cooling yourself down or are they a just a waste of money? I know it’s hot with the suit on and the doors closed.
I don’t want to consider a cool suit just yet so I’m thinking about a 12 volt fan.
Anyone?

B KINGWe use one of these velcroed to the dash & blowing on the face. I also use a cool shirt with a cool vest when it gets really hot!

Tom396I have one that is powered by 6 D-Cell batteries. I love it, but were I to buy one today, I'd get a rechargeable battery version. There is plenty of time to recharge between weekends. Take care. Tom Worthington

Big SteveI think any kind of fan blowing on your face would help while sitting in the lanes in the hot sun

NC3x58Summit has a branded 6" or so 12V fan, or other brands also available I will probably be throwing in my car soon. I currently have a stroller fan with the flexible legs that I have up on the roll cage on the right side of the car, blowing towards me. It's a good alternative, I just forget to turn it off occasionally and/or forget to charge it frequently and then I don't have it when I want it when it gets hot out lol

EmanI have an old truckers 12v fan on the roll cage, does what it can and does help. I've seen bilge fans in some cars, they look like they move a lot of air. I've considered buying a portable fan for my rechargeable battery tools and zip tying it in the car.

RPROGASI have a light weight small lithium battery powered hand held five speed fan that I use to blow air into my face. I velcro it to the cross bar next to my left hand. It's easy to reach and very effective. I charge it the day before an event and it will last for several hours. Inexpensive and effective, it was a great investment of only a few dollars.

DLRI bought a 6" black metal RV fan off amazon, attached to the right hand x bar and wired to my overhead switch panel. It has 2 speeds. So far has workrd out perfectly.
