Simpson carbon x. It's the only one I've ever used so nothing to compare it to but I'm happy with it.

CashflowI’ve used an older Simpson for a long time but since I finally broke down and bought a new Profox suit I have also been using their head sock. It’s lighter and thinner than the Simpson. BTW, very happy with my new suit from Profox. Louis is a super guy to deal with, the suit fits great and I caught it on sale with gloves, shoes and head sock.
The helmet skirt always looked like a pain to me since you have to bunch it up in order to hang it from the roll cage. Just my two cents.

1320racerVern, all you do with the skirt is pull it up over the helmet, easy peasy

183NMy wife and I both use the impact head sock that has one large eye hole. Previously had one from g force and the impact is much nicer.
5 posts in this thread from a guy who doesn’t even wear a head sock or helmet skirt but still thinks he knows better than everyone else.

Rob7181Vern,
Thanks for the tip on hanging the helmet.
I have a Simpson headsock now and probably going to buy another to swap off with.

183NSo you wear a helmet skirt when you're driving your Firebird?? Safety first I guess!
Found the perfect emoji for you Ed, complete with your headset and radios for your super comp car:

Definitely not jealous of an insecure guy like you!
Good thing you got someone to sponsor you, you can keep asking Mickey Thompson but so far they're not interested!!!!

TORQINIf ED stays on websites his kid will be asking him to pay for everything anyway...
No one partners with a s s h a t s for very long...
Meanwhile anyone who actually wears one on occasion has stated their opinions and old Ed who drives a 10 second car wants to tell us something about stuff he doesn't even use...

I have a couple of Profox suits, a 5 and a 15. Been very happy with both of them.
That said, there is a fair to middlin chance we are about to find out just what a mistake we made choosing that brand.

CashflowMitch,
You want to elaborate on that? You can send me a PM if you like.
They have been more than accommodating, I ordered the tall in the pants and they were even too tall for me. Sent them back no problem.

Well I’m curious too since that is what I wear also. On my second one.
